DECIDE’s LAST GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN MILANO

DECIDE Integrated solution is working and ready for the Use Cases final validation, we made it!

During the last month, November 5th and 6th 2019, the DECIDE consortium had its final General Assembly. With focus on the final integration activities and the validation in the Use Cases, DECIDE partners had two days of intensive hands on sessions and meaningful discussions with main focus on:

  • Addressing last integration issues, to provide a smooth and intuitive multi-cloud DevOps process for developers and operators, through the DECIDE state machine.
  • Assessing the correct behavior of the different components in a concrete deployment and re-deployment example, using the SockShop application and self-created violations in the cloud resources.
  • Preparing the Use Cases for the final validation, with the provision of the needed supporting tools and mechanisms like the docker registries for the images.
  • Final Use Cases validation, with different non functional requirements and deployment configurations.
  • Final version of sustainability strategy for the DECIDE framework, through the DECIDE alliance.

It has been a long and challenging road but the DECIDE team has successfully achieved the proposed objectives: DECIDE solution is working in swift mode and ready for the final validation by the use cases.
